Constitution
Week 2007 Photos
Gilbert celebrated its sixth annual
Constitution Week -- the nation's largest event of its kind -- with a
Constitution Fair Saturday at Mesquite High School. A few thousand
patriots turned out to honor America and hear patriotic music, watch
patriotic painter Steve Israel and enjoy great fireworks. The event also
honored Arizona's brave soldiers who gave their lives in Afghanistan and
Iraq. Photos by Dennis Durband

Patriotic Painter
As fireworks sailed on overhead, Steve
Israel dazzled a huge audience with his paintings, including the "most
beautiful woman in America" -- the Statute of Liberty

"Arizona Arlington"
Paper "grave markers" list the names of
those brave Arizonans who sacrificed their lives defending liberty in
the current war.

The late Pat Tillman
Pat Tillman gave up the life of a millionaire pro football player to
join the U.S. Army Rangers. He was killed in Afghanistan. Photos of all
of Arizona's fallen soldiers lined the entry way into the Constitution
Fair.

In Loving Memory
A paper "grave marker" honored all those from the State of Arizona who
have died in the current war.
