Arizona’s Most Conservative City Welcomes Cultural Rot with Legs Spread Open Wide

Feb. 9, 2008

Our local community college may be the last of America’s leftist cookie
cutter “junior” colleges to show it.

Arizona’s most conservative city has been suffering from a lack of cultural rot. But the “junior” college has the perfect anti-dote for that.

Saturated with a surplus of socially redeeming productions on college campuses in past years, the entire student body must surely have revolted by staging a sit-in at President Maria Hesse’s office to demand it be shown.

The music department at the cookie cutter liberal "junior" college lacks the skilled musicians to perform “The Music Man” or “South Pacific.”

The drama department lacks the faculty and the student-actors capable of putting on a real theatrical presentation. Division Chair Kate O’Mara and her staff found the script in the “Demented Plays” file, and it was either this charming production or “Drunken Coeds Gone Wild Yet Again.” So they settled for the more refined of the two.

Chandler Gilbert Community College was lacking in vulgarity on campus and certainly did not want to be confused with Gilbert’s Hale Theater or the Chandler Performing Arts Center. The best way to do that, given the “junior” college’s deficiencies, listed above, is to show “The Vagina Monologues,” an exercise in spoiled brats reciting a list of gutter names for female genitalia. Why coarsen the local culture with Hamlet when 18-year-old children can enlighten it by talking about their vaginas? This is good, unclean "fun" for the whole family, and the price is a steal. This is 2008, you know. This is how the “junior” college website describes this sterling event:

In association with "V-Day," a global movement to stop violence against women and girls, Chandler-Gilbert Community College will present Eve Ensler's, "The Vagina Monologues" on xxx x xxx. at CGCC's xxx Campus in the xxx xxxoom and on xxx, xxx xxx at xxx in room xxx on CGCC's xxx Campus.

Sponsored by the CGCC WoRCS (Women's Resource Circle and Support) student organization, tickets are $10 a the door.

Notice: Performances contain mature themes and explicit language.

Nonsense. This is a global pornography movement aiming to shock people, encourage sexual promiscuity and wipe dictionaries clean of the word “deviancy.” You don't reduce sexual assault by encouraging people to call you a c---. Furthermore, these are immature themes with implicit gutter language written by a moral degenerate. Chandler Gilbert CC’s sheeple are mind-numbed robots following the script of liberal campuses everywhere that are more concerned about crass names for the vagina than about real education and producing students ready for the labor force. The alumni must be so proud. Having appeared in this "play" will look really good on a resume. Hire that girl! She was in the Vagina Monologues!

Chandler Gilbert “junior” college actually is planning to perform the musical “Oklahoma” later on this year. Expect it to be an utter failure. The script does not call for Laurie, Ado Annie and Aunt Eller to discuss their privates in juvenile, street lingo, and the gutter actresses of CGCC will be overwhelmed by a straight script. By then, Gilbert may have lost its stature as Arizona’s most conservative city, thanks to these fine folks. The liberals will be very proud of themselves for pornifying the local culture.
