TAC: What are the top issues facing
the state this year?
RG: The run away budget.
TAC: What are the top issues in your
district?
RG: Illegal immigration.
TAC: Do you consider yourself a
pro-life conservative?
RG:
Pro-life. I have been endorsed by Arizona Right To Life.
TAC: Do you support or oppose tax
increases to help solve the state's budget problems?
RG: As
a conservative, I oppose tax increases.
TAC: What is your opinion of the 2004 state budget approved by the legislature this spring? RG: This year's budget was unbalanced, smoke and mirrors.
TAC: Do you support or oppose Prop
200, the PAN initiative?
RG: As
the Mohave County Chairman of PAN, I support Prop. 200.
TAC: How do you evaluate your opponents?
RG: I
am running against two Representatives one "RINO" and one "claims
to be a conservative"
TAC: If the Clean Elections initiative makes it on the ballot, will you support or oppose it?
RG:
Support it
TAC: How long can Arizona sustain
the type of pressure on AHCCCS that raised the expenditure five-fold
from 2001 to 2003, from $200 million to $1.2 billion?
RG:
Not very long. We need to pass PAN.
TAC: How can Arizona improve its K-12 education system and lower the high school dropout rate?
RG: We
need vouchers and to continue the private school tax credit.
Competition improves all products.
TAC: What social issues legislation
is needed in 2005?
RG:
Keep homosexual marriage out of Arizona.
