Chuck Baldwin is the only
candidate for president with a life long membership to Gun Owners
of America, and holds an uncompromising position for the second
amendment. Did you know that American citizens’ use a firearm to
defend themselves more than 2.4 million times every year? And, of
that number more than 192,000 are women defending themselves
against sexual assault? In less than 8% of those occasions, was a
shot actually fired? For those women, just having a gun was a
great equalizer. I don’t know about the other guys but if my wife
or daughters were threatened I would want them to be able to
exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.

Pro-Life

Pro-life is not a campaign
slogan for me. As president, I will immediately work with Congress
to pass the Sanctity of Life Act which would strip the appellate
jurisdiction of the Supreme Court in all cases involving the life
of an unborn child. When that happens, the unborn child would once
again be declared a person under the law and cannot be harmed
without due process of law. Appointing pro-life Supreme Court
Justices will no longer give the Republicans a phony rallying cry
and the evil deeds of the U.S. Supreme Court on January 22, 1973
will be set aside.

Not only does Barack Obama oppose the ban on partial-birth
abortion, but he has also stated that he would not want his
daughters to be “punished with a baby” because of an unwanted
pregnancy. |

Veterans
|
Military veterans have
served in difficult and dangerous places and spend a lot of time
away from their family and loved ones. They serve during the most
productive years of their lives, years that can never be given
back. The Chuck Baldwin Administration will work diligently to
make certain that these veterans have their benefits restored and
he will vigorously resist the attempt by any government agency to
nullify or reduce earned benefits to veterans and their survivors,
including but certainly not limited to, compensation, pensions,
education, and health care.

Senator Obama refused to back the “clean” bill that would fund
nearly $1.8 billion worth of veterans health funding provisions
including items for mental health services, counseling, trauma
support teams, prosthetics and rehabilitation.

Senator McCain opposed the “Truth Accountability Act,” which would
have given the public access to MIA/POW files from WWII, the
Korean War & the Vietnam War. He then introduced “The McCain Bill”
which greatly restricted the types of information the public had
access to in regard to MIA/POWs. Why add MORE restrictions to keep
important information from family and friends?
